We bought a nice set of MSW 18" wheels that came off a G6 and are going to mount them on our 2005 Malibu in the spring.

My question is with a 205/65-15 stock tire size, what can I use in a 18" with the same aspect ratio ? If I wanted to go a bit wider, what tire size could I safely use ?

Also this may be a long shot but I've seen modern rubber with a vintage look red line side wall. Anyone know where I can get these in the sizes I'm looking for ?

For tire size exchange info, check out Discount Tires or Tire Rack.

For the redlines, see if Coker Tire has anything to offer. They mostly do classics but might have some modern sizes available.

I'd recommend looking into the 225/45R18 size. This size will be about 1/2" taller than your stock tire and it would look great with your new 18" wheels. You could also look into the 215/45R18 size as this would be about the same overall diameter as your stock tire but they may look too small if you don't plan on lowering the vehicle.

I picked up a good set of barely used 235/40/18 and was wondering what tire pressure I should run with them

The max PSI on the tire says 51 but I don't thing that's what I should put in them

Any suggestions ?
