According to the chevy website under build your car, you can select this option with a 1LT to get bluetooth:

"Power Convenience Package, Includes driver 6-way power seat adjuster, remote vehicle starter system and Bluetooth for phone. $495 "

However, on every 1LT I've seen with this package none of them call out bluetooth as being included in the package. What's going on?

The Power Convenience Package has always been a 1LT option, BUT it was not until about mid way through the '09 model year that Bluetooth came with the package. So, most cars you find on the lot still may have the option package, but not the Bluetooth. You need a later build car to get that--this is why it's now listed on the build sites, etc. There are some out there, as they've now been making 1LT's with BT for some months...they're just more sparse, to find.

Good to know thanks for the heads up.

Also I assume there is no way to retrofit this?
No, at least as of yet. Bluetooth cars have a unique Onstar box/system and without that, there's no Bluetooth. But, you also can't just get a BT equipped box, as the programming is set to match the car's vin and if that specific car wasn't originally equipped, it's not a valid feature after the fact.

So, long story short, common question and simple answer--no. Either find a newer 1LT that has it (they're around, and if you can't find them, any dealer can search specifically for ones with it) or do something aftermarket for BT.
