Hey guys, new user here so if this isn't the right place to post this let me know

I recently bought a used 2016 Malibu premier and I want to clean the throttle body but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the plastic intake hose
All the videos I've found doing it are for the 1.5 motor where you just pop the clip off with a screwdriver
Maybe I'm missing it but I don't see any type of clip on the hose for the 2.0, does anyone know how this is removed..?

Step over to the DS of the fender and look in from the side. From your picture:
Motor vehicle Hood Automotive design Automotive fuel system Automotive tire


Automotive tire Car Motor vehicle Automotive exhaust Synthetic rubber


Zooming in on that little raised item circled above:

Then sticking my phone down along the firewall to see that little thing shows this:

I bet this looks like whatever is shown in the YouTube videos for the 1.5L engine. I've never tried to get into the throttle body myself, but from what I see here I would guess that the yellow clip gets flipped forward and stops where the purple arrow is pointing to, then the intake hose can be pulled off the throttle body.

Awesome thanks man, ill give it a shot tommorow and see if i can get it off
