So my DRLs are not working on my 2000 MAlibu. Tried changing the relay under the hood, still dont work. Checked some fuses for the body control module.....all fuses i checked were fine. Low and High beam of the headlights both work. Anyone know what else i can check, and if i do need a bulb should i buy the high beam or the low beam?

Thanks to everyone on advance.

I assume that the dash board brake warning light is not illuminated.

More than likely it will bein the BCM tha a malfunction has happened.
One thing I don't worry about cause I disabled both the DRL and the ALC, I don't care for the automated controls GM has put into many of their models.
At least this car has an off option. My 99 Intrigue did not. The only way you could over-ride the auto function on that car was to set the park brake.

It was ridiculous of GM to do DRL and ALC on their cars without a way to shut them off if you wanted. I'm sure that since someone figured out how to disable these functions for the N-body that someone had also looked into disabling them on other models too.
