So I recently replaced a blown brake light bulb on drivers side and when I put it back in the brake lights worked but the tail lights on the same side quit working and I replaced both bulbs.....and the passenger side works just fine..... PLEASE HELP

Does that year have the circuit board-mounted sockets, or are they individual sockets?

The bulbs may be individual, and please pardon me if this seems like an odd question, but are the sockets themselves mounted to a circuit board, or are the sockets the twist-type that you remove from the housing one at a time?

The bulbs are the standard "wedge" type.

The sockets will one of 2 types, the circuit board or the kind that is inserted into the housing and twisted until it locks in place.

As you've discovered, your sockets are mounted to a circuit board, and these were known to be problematic. It may be time to replace them if you don't want to repair them, or if they are not repairable.
