I have a trailer tent and when I tow it with my Malibu 2003
I find that the rear suspension is really too soft.
The rear gets very low.
Even without the trailer tent, if there is 2 people
on the backseat, the rear goes low.
I changed the coil springs (Cargo coil),
and I don't see any noticeable improvement...
What should I do to make the rear stiffer?

If you are doing it only for towing, stick blocks in between the coils as if you were going to the track... Might help out by preventing the rear from squatting pretty much at all.

The Cargo Coils should be progressive spring that as it compresses the first few coils the lower coils take to handling the extra load on them. Did the coil springs have a tighter wound coil then open up more? I think what you should've checked into is a set of springs with a higher lb. rating than stock. I think MOOG offers heavy duty springs for the Malibu.
