Hey everyone, just wanted to get an answer from malibu owners themselves if anyone knows. Basically my 2005 malibu is the new body style with the radio having no aux input for ipods. I really don't want to get rid of the temperature outside thing as well as my oil life monitor, but want an aux input. Is there any way the 07-09 factory radios would fit or am I stuck with possibly getting an ipod type kit from best by for 90 bucks? Any help would be appreciated.

If memory serves correctly, the best route would be to get an adapter from Best Buy.

Reason: the radios on the 08/09 Malibu's have changed with respect to the 05's. The temperature, OLM etc is now incorporated into the instrument cluster and the only thing the new radios have "left" is the RDS, I also beleive the actual radio in the 08 /09 is a diferent size (I may be wrong here).
