2006 Malibu Seat Upgrade

Hey there I’ve been searching all over the internet to see if anyone has swapped Gen 7 seats into a Gen 6. When I was at the salvage yard today i found a set of Gen 7 leather seats from an 2010 and would like give my 06 cloth seats an upgrade! Planning on going back on Monday if I don’t get a response back to try and take em out and put them in a gen 6 in the salvage lot to see if they actually fit before buying them. Let me know if anyone has done it themselves and any tips and tricks!!
