I have the 3.5L impala engine in my 2008 malibu because it is a company fleet issue.
Last week it developed a noticeable slight hesitation while in drive when stopped at at traffic lights. Last night it showed signs of hesitation while driving 65 mph on the highway.
Car only has 29,000 miles and is starting to have some issues.
Two weeks ago I had a new steering box put in because of noise issues.
I used dry gas and fuel injector cleaner for hesitation but I don't think it will help. It is going back to dealer this week.
Does Anyone in this forum have or has had same issue?

I am beginning to think the new malibu is not what GM claims it is as far as quality.

Just because you have problems with your Impala, why do you think that the Malibu is lacking in quality. Speaking of Apples and Oranges, right?

Just to clarify my first post above.
My car is a 2008 Malibu with 3.5 engine.
Just took it out again and hestitation is getting worse.
Feels like transmission slipping however it still may be problem with engine stuttering because of sensor , fuel injectors or electrical issue.
