intermittent electrical problem over past 9 months. have replaced starter, alternator, and battery each twice. car started fine for past 3 months and just recently began having problems starting. stopped cranking and starting altogether. was able to jump start it and then subsequently restart it several times. replaced the 6 month old battery anyway and confirmed crank/start. the next day, suddenly won't crank/start again. but, was able to jump start again. no indicators on dash board. all other systems appear to work normally. what are the possible/likely, most common issues? relay, fuse, wiring, ECM? 11 year old car with 130K miles. would like to resolve once and for all or cut my losses and part ways with it. suggestions welcome and appreciated.

Possible dirty connections at battery, ground-to-chassis, and/or ground-to-engine.

Check battery cables for corrosion, discoloration, etc. . I had erratic cranking on a Sable that would jump start fine and battery cables that looked OK but they where the issues on that car. Was my son's car bought used and already had alt. and battery replaced. Got a good deal for a little aggravation and having to change a couple battery cables.
