Hello, I am a new member to the site. Just wanted to give my reviews of the car I have had since december as well as get some imput to the issues that i have had. I love the car. It's very classy. The whole interior is black leather with the sunroof, nice wood looking trim, and the chrome detail outside the car that borders the doors and front and rear. The tires were goodyear 225 50/18. I have 12,000 miles on it already from traveling. The car was bought outright. At about 4000 miles I noticed the car was pulling to the left. It was a very noticeable pull. I took it in for service and was told a belt must have gone bad in the tire. It seemed to be ok for a little bit. Not long after that It started to pull the same way but to the right side this time. So I took it back in and it was the same thing. They put a new right side tire on it. I honestly dont think they knew what was wrong with it. Also at the second time I brought it in the shop it seemed to be chugging while in idle like it was choking so they serviced the fuel injector. Then at about 11,000 miles it started to pull to the right again. Very severe to the point where my wrist would get tired real quick from fighting the wheel. Whenever I would go over a bump it felt as though i was sliding and it definately hit harder while going over bumps and cracks in the road. So just last week I took it back into the shop for a 3rd time. They ended up keeping it for almost 2 weeks. The service manager was in contact with GM and it was determined to be a tire issue with the goodyears that came stocked. They replaced all four tires with new michelin hydro edge 225 50/18 tires. It now drives like a champ!!! what ive noticed is the overall performance is way better than the first day I had the car. I know there is a torque pull when you first start out but its no where near the pull like it used to be. also I can tell that the car has way more power and get up than it did before with the old tires. way more power than the first day I bought the car when it had 9 miles on it. There is still a bit of a chugging feeling when i start the car and let it idle for a bit while the engine warms up. maybe this is normal. What pisses me off is I had to bring the car in 3 times in the first 8 months due to tire issues. And Im also certain that the performance of my car has been bogged down since day one because of the tires. Im sure ive burned alot more gas than should be. I would love anyones input on these issue, if they have had the same issues, is the engine chug normal? I feel i've been wronged from the first time i brought the car in. all this time it was the whole set of tires and the idiots couldnt figure that out until the 3rd visit. I feel that i should be compensated in some way for my inconveniece and god knows how much extra money for gas and the extra wear on the other parts of the car due to the tires being bad. Thanks for allowing me to post and join the forum. any imput is welcomed. My email is [email protected]:)

The Goodyear LS2 tires are known to be junk. Some get lucky, some don't. The pull you noticed is very common with those tires. As for the new tires making your car feel faster, it is just that, you "feel" it is, nothing more. Glad they got it fixed, but good luck getting anything back from GM. Keep us posted.

Okay... first, paragraphs are a good thing. The old "wall-o-text" gets hard to read.

I have put over 5000mi on my LS2 tires, including a 2200mi cross-country haul, and haven't had a single issue. Maybe I'm just lucky, who knows.

As far as "engine chug"... this is the first I've heard.

Let's start with the basics... 4cyl or V6?
