Hi Everyone:
Vehicle: 2010 Chevy Malibu 2010 LT 2.4L
Time: Wednesday, Oct 20, 2022, 05:45 AM
Condition: 33F
Problem description:
Troubleshooting:
I checked the fuse box next to the passenger seat after 2 hours of driving. Everything is fine in the fuse box.
I replugged the cluster relay, then the instrument panel back to work. After 18 hours(Friday, Oct 21, 02:00 AM, 36F), the instrumental panel cluster dies again.
The instrument panel didn't come back to work this time, although I replugged the cluster relay.
It seems like the instrument panel won’t work well if the temperature is cold.
Questions:
Thank you,
Jin

Questions:
- How much does it costs to fix? The mechanic shop suggests replacing the whole cluster, which will charge me around 800-1000 bucks( Is that a fair price?).
- Is there any cheap way to fix it?
Thank you,
Jin
