Hi,

I have a 2010 Malibu with OnStar, bluetooth and an Android phone with a Pandora subscription (Samsung Epic) and would like to interface it to the car stereo.

Is it possible to do this through bluetooth, or does it not support that, and I must instead use a simple audio cable to AUX?

Thanks,
Dave

I think you're gonna have to use an audio cable. I have a '10 Malibu as well and as far as I know it doesn't support audio bluetooth, just bluetooth for talking on your phone.

It would be nice if it would work, but sadly it would have to be with the cable only.

Ditto.

Had an '09 with BT - it was not able to hear my LG VX8300 or my Android phones.

Now have an '11 with BT - same story.

I found something kinda cool to be able to adapt it. I am tired of the wires so you got me thinking and searching. Anyways here's the link http://www.scosche.com/car-audio/product/1919

At least one part of it would be useful for streaming music. I am going to have to see if I can find one cheaper though.

What they would need is a BT receiver that plugs into the Audio Jack on the receiver and a BT transmitter for the Audio Jack on the phone. That way the music is transferred wirelessly.

The only thing I can think of is how would either of them be powered? There isn't any power available at either jack.

Yup, have to use the audio cable... It would be nice though.
