Hello. I purchased a used Malibu and once it started, the knocking sound was very noticeable. It was completely drained of oil so I added 4 quarts and of course a quart of Lucas. Not knowing much about vehicles at all, this thing knocks and quit completely. I honestly believe the motor was shot when I purchased it.

The codes are P0172 / P0010 / P0014 / P0016 / P0326 / P0732 / P0420

Some codes showed up more than once.

I order a used motor with a warranty that has only 96k miles on it. Will someone tell me if I made the right move?

You ordered a used motor with 96,000 miles? Yeesh man, I hope the price was amazing because not knowing how it was treated means it could die in a couple years of normal driving.

The price was $1250 and I have a very well trusted person putting it in for a well deserved $600.

It will not let me upload short video clips only 15-20 seconds long that provide the sound it was making before it quit.
