Little back story a while back I had some Under-glow installed and instead of having it connected to a button my friend told me I’ll be easier to just have it connected to my headlights. So we used a gauge splicer to connect them together and it worked perfectly. Fast forward a few months I wanted to connect my fog lights to my headlights since my fog lights are running off a button and I wanted to ditch the button. So when I went to take off the splicer and uninstall my Underglow (getting new ones soon) I was thinking let me do the same process me and my friend did with splicer for the under glow with my fog lights. Here where the problem started when I went to put the splicer on my right low-beam turned off. After that I noticed I actually used the wrong size gauge splicer to begin with when we first used it so when I used it with the fog lights it cut to much of the wire. So looking at the pictures my friends told me to try and just cut the wire and use a wire splitter to reconnect and should fix the problem. Well after lots of testing nothing worked even checked all the fuses and relays and tried different light bulbs. So pretty much what I wanted to know is there a way I can fix this or do I have to buy the whole wire harness because if there is a fix it would probably save me so much money and make me feel less of a dumbass. If you guys can help me out in any way I’ll appreciate it so much and go easy on me I’m bad with wires haha.
