Chevy Malibu 2013 LT 2.5L
I had an issue this morning driving into work all of a sudden the cars steering started acting a little funny while on the freeway and I got a stabilitrak alert on my dashboard. The car seem to start acting funny while driving so I pulled off and took sidestreets but the problem still persisted until I got to work. Any help or suggestions on what to do to fix? I researched a few things but can’t decide what it could be or where to start! I am not the owner, my wife’s father is the owner, he isn’t computer savvy so he asked if I can look into it? Does shutting off help? Has anyone experienced this, the stirring wheel shakes a bit, seemed like the engine was losing power, and the alert on the dash is what pretty much happened at that moment. Does resetting or turning off the feature help? Would I be able to drive it until I can have checked by a service tech ? Road conditions were fine, freeway speeds, with some traffic. No weather issues really ya cause the function to engage. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Still need the engine. Is it the basic 2.5L motor or the high-output 2.0T?

Problem was corrected the next day, my issue ended up being a fuel injector, one of the four was bad. I thank you for allowing me to seek help here, this discussion can be deleted or closed. Thanks again

We appreciate that you returned and let us know what it took to fix it, and we appreciate that it only took twice to get the info needed for others to help you. Apparently, others didn't offer any input, which is kinda odd.

But you need not worry about this thread. It'll remain here for others to benefit from should they have a similar issue and happen to stop by and read it.
