Hello,

I've basically replaced all engine and transmission mounts (front, side, and left) but I have no idea how to remove the rear trans mount. The vehicle is a 2013 Malibu LTZ 3.0L V6 (shares the same mounts as the I4 engines as indicated by GM part numbers.)

AC DELCO service center informed me that the engine has to be shifted towards the front of the car to be able to "slide" the mount out of its bracket. This means I have to remove ALL mounts to shift the engine. The mount rubber was ripped so it's causing some light vibration

Is there another way to remove the trans mount other than the way stated above?

I've addressed a few issues with the post according to the guidelines. Are these changes acceptable?
Yes, quite, thank you! Since it has a 3.0L V6, it's not a model available in North America. Over here for 2013 we could choose from a 2.4L non-turbo or a 2.0L turbo.

However, there are some pretty decent folks on here who should be able to offer some good guidance.
