My son's 2014 Malibu had damage that we didn't know about from the previous owner. The radiator was bent in, and recently, the fluid leaked out while he was driving, and it overheated and shut down. He put fluid in it, which runs back out, but the car runs very rough for the short timethat the fluid is still in there. What Could the problem be?

If the engine actually got hot enough for long enough, it could spell doom for it. You need to have it checked professionally to see if it can be resurrected. That's one of the biggest differences between the old iron blocks and the newer aluminum blocks: aluminum is more delicate and doesn't do well when overheated, but iron can take some punishment.
