Why did you replace the batteries? And why both at one time? Usually batteries die with use and one FOB goes out long before the other.
Are the batteries you put in good? When you say you checked the batteries and replaced them, do you mean the new replacements have been checked with a meter?
Do you still have the old batteries available to try them again if you
don't have a meter to check the replacements to be sure they are good?
Some auto parts stores have a device on the counter for checking key fobs to see if they are
transmitting. The purpose is to sell replacement batteries, but you could go there and test your
fobs if you have one of those in your area. I haven't checked counter lately, but our O'Reilly (Checkers)
had one locally.
