2015 trunk actuator replaced fuses ok still trunk wont open ither by remote or bottom switch,can someone help me?

I'm at my ends wits has someone had this trunk issue as trunk k not responding even after new actuator and fuses check? Help!

Can't you say anything about what it took to fix it at the dealer?
Unplug the latch motor, identify the ground terminal, then put a test light on the power terminal. When you try to pop the trunk, does the light flash? If so, then it's getting power.

Next, make sure the ground can carry enough current to turn on a test light or two.

$519 to replace Trunk latch assembly @ Dealer-covered by extended warranty

I paid too much for my extended warranty in 12/17 but in my defense I paid a lot less in 12/07 (Malibu LS) so didn’t anticipate the huge increase. So far it covered the aforementioned & the notorious shift to park issue
