Hey everyone, I tried to do a brake job on my 2016 Premier this week (recently purchased hence the new user ID). Front was straightforward, just like any typical car. When I did the back, I really screwed up. I have never done a brake job on a car with an electronic parking brake before so I didn't know about the need to put the parking brake into "service mode." Long story short, in desperation, I set the parking brake while the caliper was off and the piston screwed completely off the caliper. Not good. I've searched everywhere trying to find a general Chevrolet or Malibu specific procedure on how to put the brake into "service mode" with no luck. Does anyone know how to do this? Appreciate the help.
