2016 Sunroof suddenly stopped working

Just purchased used 2016 Malibu, and love it. Sunroof was working great. now it will (sometimes) open to vent only, (and not always close on the first try.)

When closed, the shade only closes to the panorama point, so something isn't right.

Anyone experience this?
