Hello to all

So today I changed out my reservoir tank due to a pinhole in the tank. Since I changed the reservoir I figured why not flush and refill the system right. Couple questions for anyone who can help.
1. At what temperature does the thermostat open up and at what temp does the cooling fans operate. I hope I'm doing this right. Smh

Most modern engines have thermostats that open at 195F. Fans usually come on around 210F.
After refilling system let it idle with the heater off so engine builds up temperature with tank cap off and air burps out. May take a while if outside in cold temps.
Keep checking level when cold for a few days and top off to cold fill line. Sometimes it takes some driving and cool down / heat up cycles for air to fully purge out.
