For the look you're going for it probably fits right in. I'm not a fan of the stretched-tire look or the additional offset that puts the wheel and tire beyond the body. To me, and this is my personal opinion, it looks too ghetto. I hope that doesn't offend as it's not meant to.

I hope the car lasts a long time with few or no issues, and that you adore it like many of us do our own vehicles. I know that I really like mine.

Oh, and welcome to CMF, too! I see that this is your first post and I hope it isn't your last, my comments notwithstanding.

Do you have a list of any other mods, like tint, rear spoiler, pinstriping, etc? (Tint is always first on my list ever since getting it done to my first 'Bu back in December 2008!)

Your Malibu had what, 17 inch wheels stock? Those 22s are going to throw your speedometer way off and your car's acceleration performance, braking, and fuel economy are all going to be pretty negatively affected. Don't be surprised when your suspension parts wear out twice as often as well.

Giant wheels demand a hefty toll for appearance sake. Good luck with that.

Straight up. 4 weeks ago I made a legal U-turn in my Bu' but had to go on a sloped side-walk, slowly. Right front tire tore the front part of the R-H plastic inner wheel splash guard right off. (it's a two piece unit). No larger tires for me and no more using the sidewalk to make a U-turn.

Welcome to the forum. I have the factory 19" wheels and notice a little more road noise on mine then the 17" wheels on my buddys but as far as a show car goes the 22" look great keep us up to date on future mods.

I actually was in an accident about 3 weeks ago and my car just got done being in the shop. My suspension had to be completely redone due to the wheels but we just put a better quality on. Insurance still covered it. My speed, sensors, and controls are still exact and on point. Im guessing bc a professional shop installed everything. I see its not yalls fortay but I like it 🙂 Gotta keep it sassy Thanks for all the honesty Thats what its all about 🙂

Hearing that extra info, it's good that you came through the accident in good shape, and that your car has been repaired to your satisfaction. (Hopefully, anyhow.)

I'm nothing if not honest. :p

You have a healthy attitude toward criticism and I respect that. I'm glad you and your car came out of the accident ok!
