Hell Everyone,
I have a 2017 Chevy Malibu Hybrid with 114k on it. About 6 months ago while driving to work I got a check engine light with reduced power notification, I couldn't drive past 35 MPH and I could not cruise control. Once I got to work I turned the car off and after my shift I came back and the car ran fine. The check engine light was on but the car appeared fine. About a week later I noticed a really bad idle, the car shakes however, when I drove the car was fine and after the initial idle going back to park or stopping at lights did not trigger the shaking again. Eventually the light went away and now about twice a week I will start the car and feel a rough idle that goes away once I am on the road. I am doing a 1900 mile trip and want to ensure I am not left stranded, I took it to autozone and it pulled the following codes.
P042E
P0324
P0405
P0406
P041B
P1426
These are related to the EGR, and I think it is probably the EGR valve. Since it is not consistent it has to be the valve getting stuck at times when starting the car due to a build up of crud. Let me know what you all think. I initially thought it could be the throttle body but now with the codes I do not believe this is the case.
