my 2017 Malibu LS with 102,300 miles has been having a shaking issue at around 40mph and up that goes away when letting off of the gas. This problem only presents itself sometimes but when it does it is always while giving it gas or going up a hill.. Has been into chevy twice now and they tell me they cant find anything wrong. Now it has begun to have a clunk noise when I am going slow in a parking lot and let off the gas. It appears I can only replicate it by getting the car up to speed in 2nd then letting off the gas. It seems like its doing it just as its starting to downshift back to 1st. Scheduled to go into a transmissiom shop thursday but does anyone have any ideas what is going on here? Ive been convinced its a CV issue but they tell me all is fine. The sound seems to come from the axle or caliper area; definitely front left. Thanks in advance for anymore advice anyone has to offer.

Could be a CV joint or axle but question: Did it occur before the transmission flush you mentioned in your previous discussion?

I dont think it started until after the flush but to be honest i cant remember for sure... I sent it in for the flush because of a surge that was happening when shifting from 3 to 4 and delayed shifting which cleared up and i am pretty certain this started right when I got it back. I do remember hearing a single light click that would happen intermittently in the front left wheel when going into drive after backing out from the time I got the car at 97××× miles. The shaking while accelerating I am almost certain started after the flush but again I cant say for certain. It seems to be front left side, that is definitely where the noise is loudest. I can feel it on my left foot in floor board, steering wheel, and seat when shaking/vibration happens.
