Yesterday ,around 4:00 pm) my care wouldn’t unlock with the key fob. I left my car running, so the AC could cool it off, and went into my son’s daycare to pick him up. I locked my car and had my keys with me. When I returned to the car it wouldn’t unlock, none of the key fob buttons were responsive and none of the buttons on the handle were working. I had to pop the little piece off the drivers side door handle and unlock the door with the key inside the fob. However, it’s worked fine ever since this happened. I just replaced the battery about a month ago so I know that’s not the issue.

Sounds like that known fob issue. Transmitter receiver needs to be replaced. Take it to dealer
