I recently had the trunk opened, poured water at the top of trunk lid channel, then closed the trunk and poured water over third brake light, no water leaking anywhere. So, my leak has to be coming from underneath, water coming in when I drive in the rain. Then I discovered 2 tears in a section of the factory tape. So check those out. Can you point out or circle the tears that you're talking about? I don't see anything that would leak.
