So i bought a 2018 Premier used with 40k miles on it. Drove across the street to fill it up and it literally wouldn't take fuel. Neck kept filling up and shutting off the nozzle. Took it right back and they had it for a week and said they replaced the filler neck assy and it was good. Moved out of State a couple days later and shipped the car thinking everything was good. Do forward to today, finally ran the tank of fuel out of it (had a rental for 3 weeks) and went to fill it up.

Same problem, the neck fills up and it shuts off. Took 30 mins to fill the tank: after it shuts off wait a minute and then repeat like 40 times. Pissed because I was told it was fixed and since it had a full tank I believed them.

Any other issues I should check into? Clogged or kinked vapor vent line or?? Filler neck ASSY is supposedly brand new. At a loss right now.

That's a very unique situation - buying new car, having it repaired, then immediately moving away. Can be tough quickly departing the seller dealership. Hopefully the car included a warranty or service contract. Take it to your new local GM dealer with your previous paperwork and say the problem persists.

There is a bulletin for this issue covering all 2017-2018 cars - it's one of the negatives about capless. I've seen so many people get sprayed by fuel at stations with capless... Unfortunate it took you a lot long time to fuel but thankfully you didn't get the gasoline geyser! https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10173383-9999.pdf
