There is no separate DRL bulb on the Gen 7 'Bu (current models '08 thru '10). As you say the low beams are pressed into service as DRLs and they burn at full power. (Unless you do what I did and rewire your car to use the turn signal filaments instead.) The turn signal bulbs are 3157NA (natural amber). The little bulb you mentioned that is behind the amber lens on the side of the headlights is the side marker. That can be a 168 or 194 since it is the same physically, just a different wattage. The stop/turn/tail lights are 3157 bulbs, and the backup lights are 3156 bulbs. The rear side markers use the same as the fronts, either 168 or 194, your choice.
Replacing the headlights, turn signals, and/or side markers on the front requires you to remove the bumper skin sompletely. I tried to get my headlight assemblies out without removing it and spent an hour and a half before giving up. I finally decided to remove the bumper skin and it was super easy! Just like Bedbug and many others have said, though, it is freakin' LAME that they designed it that way! It takes a little while to get all the fasteners off but the work is easy.
