On a 2010 Malibu LTZ, is there any way to access the area directly below the rear seats? I'm fairly certain one of my kids dropped a nintendo ds game down there (between the seat back and bottom), and I've been trying to figure out how to fish that little sucker out. It feels like there's a void down there, but not sure how to access it.

Just pull the seat upward to release it from the mounting clipses

Ha, cool! No idea I could do that...I just gave it a pull and the whole bottom seat area comes right on out of the car.

Awesome. I need to do this on my 2008 Malibu LTZ. Same procedure I assume. My son lost his super mario bros DS game hours after I bought it. the seat appears to have swallowed it. Hope this works.
