The Injen one sounds like it has a chance of working on the Malibu 2.4 (not 3.6) since its documentation says it changes the size of the airflow at the MAF so it can meter the air correctly without having to re-tune.

The Weapon-R has some mumbo jumbo about having dual air paths, etc, etc. Says nothing about the effect it will have on the tuning.

CAUTION to all 2.4 owners: No CAI until now has worked on the 2.4 without causing the Check Engine light to turn on.

I have posted about both of those in the past on here. The Weapon-R will automatically throw CEL's. It is a CAI from a Cavalier that Weapon-R is selling for the Malibu.
