Hello All,

I do not currently own a Malibu but should in a couple weeks. Right now I'm driving my 2001 F250 4x4 7.3L Diesel. Spending way too much on fuel a month so its time to move on. I'm looking at a 2010 Malibu LS with about 26k miles. Just wondering about tips for dealing with the dealers on it. And anything specific i should check out on it? Thank you and hopefully I'll become a permanent member.

If it has steel wheels look it over for bends in the wheels, it is really common around here. Other than that just look it over like any other vehicle you would buy, not really anything I can think of in specific. Go in with a researched price in mind so you don't end up overpaying. With the cost of diesel and the gas mileage you will end up saving a good amount of money in a nice car.

Is there a much of a difference between LS and LT?

In 2010 the LS had the 4 speed transmission and other options standard, and the LT added the 6 speed transmission and steering wheel controls standard. Also, the LT had the option for the 3.6L V6.
