Though, I didn't do what you did.

I just cleaned mine and it took me a lot less time than my other car I had. And the way it's structured makes it easier to narrow in on certain areas to clean.

I must admit, the front of the vehicle is harder in my opinion than most.

I use the leaf blower on the front to dry it quickly. My Z/28 holds water in the turn signal for days if it humid and I leave it in the garage. After finishing, I really can't see that much of a difference but being new, I wouldn't think there should be......silver paint is so nice!

That's what i've been using also works really well getting the water out of the grill and also around the windows,rear view mirrors and rims

Hmm....Never thought of that, I have a cordless unit should try this.

I agree that the "cosmetic" upkeep on the Malibu is by far the easiest of any car I've ever owned. Water drains from all areas well, and the sheet metal and fascias don't have many "nooks" to hide water or polish. Water drain is almost non-existent from the trunk lid.....which is usually the worst place on most cars. The only thing I've noticed that I DON'T like about it, is the "crack" between the flat ABS plastic panel and the front fascia. Small pieces of grass and leaves occasionally get stuck in this seam. Other than that, there's no real place for dirt or water to hide.

I've never had a problem, been doing it for years. The blower did suck in a lady bug one time but I was lucky and it hit the window at 150mph ~ no damage. However, if it did hit the paint, I'm sure it would have left a mark.

I especially like blow drying the motorcycle. My GSXR holds a lot of water around the fuel tank opening, motor area and an extreme amount in the radiator.
