Having some trouble with these plug and play lights.

Don’t know much about them but the one's I have inquired about are a Full Digital Control HID Ballast System (DSP). I talked to a guy here in CT. that has had them installed in his Subaru Impreza and they are really cool! Makes my lights on the Malibu look dim as hell! LOL!

I would not even attempt to even do it myself on the Malibu, there is a lot you need to know and the fact you have to take the entire bumper of the 2008-2011 model years, have to worry about air-bag sensor, ect!

Not all shops can do it right as they claim! Have heard many having issues after having it installed by a shop that supposedly knows how to install! You can get them in 3000k, 4300k, 5000k,6000k,8000k, and 10000k. in brightness/color! 35 watt, 35w slim,55 watt, 55w slim and Adjustable Slim kits! The highest grade German.Japanese, and USA produced components! Proprietary German Engineered Custom Microprocessors!

Might be worth looking into!

yeah these lights suck have had two sets in my car, the fulls and the slims the full would blow the fuse and when they didnt blow the fuse it blew the ballast, have the slims in now they were working great till i blew the ballast in these too both times they blew the passenger side ballast

Fixed the problem by pulling the "Daytime Running Lights" relay. I do get a "Check Engine" light because of it, but it's no big deal and my lights are working fine now.

Removing the DRL relay won't cause the check engine light to turn on. You have another issue.
