remove frt wheels remove front plastic skirts to the frt bumper cover and the fenders. plastic clips you use a fork tool to remove them sometimes you can use a pair of dikes pliers if you can get under the clip but a fork tool works the best, after the skirt is removed,just the frt section you can leave the rear still atached just fold it back and up to get at the fog lamps not a hard job changing the headlamp bulbs is harder.hope this helps you. bob n 2009 ltz

Thanks man. This is the poorest designed car I have ever owned regarding changing bulbs. On my Camaro you can get to the low and high beam bulbs just by popping the hood, and even the fogs have little trap doors with like one screw....

ya they dont make it very easy i dont no why. there going backwards on tech on bulbs. i love my malibu but the bulbs suck. i install hid set up in the middel of winter here in easthampton ma have to just about remove frt cover you can cheat alittle and not take off all the way so i did then after they were on for about a week one side failed on me i took them out for now not a happy camper will try again in nice weather. good luck with your malibu. 09 ltz black met. roof spoiler trunk spoiler blacked out brakes k&n filter factory mud flaps.1995 caprice ss
