I see Jet makes some products compatible with an 09 malibu 3.6L. The two I'm considering are the stage 1 PCM part # 10729 and if anyone decides to ever manufacture a cold air intake I'd highly consider the Powr-Flo MAF sensor part # 69116.

Btw, I don't know why/how Jetchip.com can sell anything stage 2 for the Malibu as I have never seen a low temperature thermostat, cold air intake, nor have I seen a free flowing low restriction exhaust. Magmaflow is close but not enough people are showing interest. The part # for the non existent cat back exhaust is 16506. That being said, how did or would Jet calibrate the computer on the Malibu for parts that don't exist. Unless it's a really generic change and proper testing is not needed. That make me hesitate to buy their products. I am very interested in your opinions and what you people think.

Ya I have both of those parts on my car with my homemade hot airflow intake! Don't spend you hard earned money for these things that claim to make your car go faster! It's a bunch of baloney! I'm the only one that I know of that has made this mistake so take my word for it!

Yup, junk. Search on here, there have been threads on it. Only way to get a good "tune" is with a good hand held unit or software.
