Just regular wax/polish is your best bet being it is not actual chrome.

For brake dust on sensitive surfaces I use a product called Amazing Roll Off works quite well. I haven't used it on GM's latest ChromeTec revision, but diluted properly it works wonders.

Just make sure you get the wheel wet first and give it 15-30 seconds to work. Also wear gloves as it has HF acid I believe. (I always use gloves either way. Or try to. :-|)
