Yes.

So long as your pockets are deep enough, too.

You'll also need to reprogram the ECM and upgrade the transmission to handle it.

Just buy the Trifecta Performance tune for the 1.5T. If you want way more power trade it in for a Malibu 2.0T or buy an actual performance car.

For a bigger turbo, intercooler, and custom tune? I'm thinking $4,000 and it would be an unreliable timebomb because the motor isn't designed to handle that sort of modification and neither is the light-duty 6T40 transmission.

For all the necessary support mods like a transmission swap and engine upgrades I'd guess around double that first estimate. It would still be significantly less reliable than a stock 2.0T model. Also, a heavily modified car tanks the resale value.

I wouldn't mod anything on the 1.5T. It is already a small displacement engine that is essentially modded with a turbo from the factory. I also wouldn't look to the 2.0T to increase performance at the expense of reliability. Performance doesn't need to mean reduced reliability. If seeking more performance I'd look to a car designed for performance.
