do it in 5 steps, use micro fiber cloths, and never go through an automated car wash
use quality products, meguires, mothers, zaino.....
1. wash (use a quality soap)
2. clay bar( actual clay bar, not liquid)
3. Use paint cleaner ( i use meguires)
4. car polish( meguires)
5. Wax ( Nxt 2.0 tech wax, meguires) just remember paste lasts longest

now sit back and enjoy

If you want me to step by step teach you how to detail your car I can explain it for you just send me a PM. I can also tell you what products you want for the best result. I can have a showroom looking car in no time. It takes me about 3 hours to do a car inside and out. After all the car's I have done, you kind of know what tools to use and what makes things easier. However, I don't cut corners. I can have just about any car (that still has a clear coat) look as though it was right off the assembly line without using a buffer. I am a handwax guy... Although the company I bought my wax from has discontinued their product because it violated an enviromental law (lol that's why it worked so well) and now the only place to get it is in Florida and no one will tell me what the name of the company is. It's called Black Diamond Polish. It came in a small bottle. It was all black and had yellowish writing. A 16oz bottle was 25 bucks my cost and about 35 for any random customer. So that gives you an idea of how good this stuff was. I miss it... :(

I used to be a professional detailer. Now I just take care of my own cars and hook my parents up once in a while.

Get off the computer and put some time and effort on your Bu' ;) you'll be surprised what a little sweat and elbow grease will do for your car :D:D

Malo you're so mean to me! I thought we were bffs

My effort consists of me driving to the local car spa and having it fancied up for me
