my wife just got a 2010 BU not sure if its a 1lt or 2lt...

trying to pair up her Palm treo....

you press the button on the steering wheel...it mutes the radio....and doesnt beep or say a thing...I hold it for a while...nothing...

any help?

If it's a 1LT then you have Bluetooth only if it was optioned in at the time of manufacture. If it's a 2LT you have it standard.

Like you're doing, pressing the Mute button for several seconds is how to engage the BT feature. If it has it, it will come over the speakers and say "Bluetooth ready" in a pleasant female voice.

As you've discovered it isn't working. Either you have it and it's malfunctioning, or it's a 1LT without the option.

Are you sure you have it? What exactly does the button you are pushing look like, since the BT and non BT buttons are very close looking.

The steering wheel mounted audio controls don't necessarily mean Bluetooth for Phone (option code UPF, see glove compartment sticker). In VIN positions 4 and 5, ZC means 1LT and ZD, 2LT. Hmm, they didn't tell your wife what she was purchasing?

cool..have to check...they could have told her..hell they could have told her she was buying a caddy...she wouldnt know the difference...she is still calling it a impala...duh...
