I have heard of other covers (on Cobalts) that tend to fall off. I don't have any experience with these though myself.

Seems a pretty hefty price to pay at $200 per set. That is equivalent to 20 cans for caliper paint!

Most people keep their cars for less than 7 years. With a little elbow grease you could keep the calipers any colour you want for under $100 total over the life of the car.

Can't say that I've ever used them, or heard anything good about them. Just a few kinda negative things. Considering how cheap and easy painting is, it was an easy choice for me. Plus it looks like those all have their company logo on them... :(

Why?????? What is this desire to decal a brake caliper? Doesn't make any sense to me. This is something high school kids to...
because it looks clean... I would not be one to paint them blue, red, yellow, etc... as to try to imitate a brembo kit or something. No way. These cars are family sedans, not sport cars. However, anyone who says the stock calipers look good are full of shit. A nice black coating or a paint match would really work well with the stock LTZ wheels since they show so much caliper.

ps. did some reading and am steering away from the covers... im gonna paint them.

I looked into the MGP, and also checked with them on if they'd even remotely be interested in a group buy to lower the cost and they said no.

I am painting them in a few weeks, and got some EBC Brakes custom decals to put on them once dry...

I find your comment deliberately trying to insight the same reactions you did in the thread I did not post a complete link to. (for the reason of not continuing views on the little tirade you started) Please cut the crap, and stop giving other members a hard time and causing grief, by attempting to disparage their ideas and views. Plus your comment is rhetorical, you know the answer to it as you have posted this comment before. I fail to understand why you added a question mark at all with your post.

Have you looked at many high end calipers? Guess not as they many times will say "Brembo", "Ferrari", "Corvette" etc....it is the same thing.

Guess I am a "high school kid" as I have nice caliper decals on my Camaro (powder coated calipers) and Speed3 (painted calipers).

I have seen them on some mustangs and they look good, but for $200 I would just paint the calipers. The only thing I would be afraid of is if one came off.

+1000. It's getting more tiring every time I get an update with such negative comments. Everyone on here is pretty decent lately until all of a sudden bam!

Please note:

5thElement is gone! I banned him due to a comment on another thread but this one of his would have resulted in the same action.

Good riddance. We can all breathe more easily now!

And we can paint or cover our calipers without being denigrated for doing so.
