brake pedal squeaky

2009 malibu brake pedal squeaky when applied some times. read on new gm blog that the master cylinder flushed and new DOT 3 brake fluid is the fix. has any one else had this and what fix it. had it at dealer and they lube the rubber boot on pedal to master . drove it home and it stiill there so i will take it back when the weather better.
