Can anyone identify which bulb is which on the 2008-2009 Malibu? I mean besides the obvious --headlight/tailight -- which one is a side marker bulb and are the front and rear side marker bulbs the same type or even the referred to as that? And what about the two smaller bulbs in the headlight assembly: I know one amber one is the front turn signal light, but what is the one in the upper outer corner of the assembly?

thanks

4157NA and 3157NA are interchangeable so either will do for the front turn signals.

3457A and 7065 are not used on the 'Bu. DRLs use the low beams, and we don't have a Step/Courtesy light.

Glove box light does not exist to the best of my knowledge.

In the corner of the headlights theres a small bulb where the orange reflector is, thats the 3475A. As for the courtesy light, thats just the lights in the front door handles its a glass inflorescent bulb

Here's a 3457A bulb:

It is not the little bulb in the side of the headlight assembly. That bulb is either a 194 or 168 (or similar). The 3457A is a bulb the same size as a 3157/4157.

***************************************

Here's a 7065 bulb:

Our "courstesy lights" use the kind identified as a dome lamp, the 562 with the rigid loops on the ends. The map lights are the small wedge types, such as the 168, 194, 2825, etc.

***************************************

The door handles do not use flourescent bulbs to produce the blue light. They are LEDs. The only flourescent displays that might be in the car are the DIC, radio, and temp (for ACC).

***************************************

We all appreciate the effort you put forth to produce the list for us, but telling us that the "3475A" (typo on the 3457A?) is the bulb in the corner of the headlights and other errors is misinformation that needs cleared up. Believe me, I've made statements that weren't accurate before. I'm not getting on your case, just setting the record straight for anyone who comes along.

To all:
I didn't expect such a quick flurry of replies --- THANK YOU THANK YOU for your time and effort to get all that info. I was quite confused with all the different bulb types. I certainly don't want to waste money on the wrong parts. Again thanks to all!!
