Just got a 09 LT2 with inline 4 and 6 speed semi-auto tranny.

Around 500km on the car (a bit more than 310 miles), the car started its problems.

As I start the car, all is fine, but within the first 5-10 miles (sometimes within the first yards), the car reacts as if it was lacking gas. It bucks a bit, then the RPM needle stops functionning and the car is now fine, but lacking power.

Brought it to the dealer (via tow truck, as the car wouldn't even start anymore), they saw to codes:

P0366
P0341

They fixed it, did a test drive, and all was fine.

Got the car back yesterday, drove about 100km (60 miles) to come back home. As I was driving out to work this morning (I'm an on-road sales rep), it started its issues again.

Car will get towed within next 45 minutes to another dealer closer to my house.

I'll keep you posted on the issue.

Car has a little less than 800km on it, really loving my GM experience up to now...

My car has been doing the exact thing. I have a 2009 lt and we were told one of our coils was bad and thats why it was misfiring...now its back in the shop because that didnt fix it. We r paying all this out of pocket...so we need a fix

If I remember correctly there has been some issue with the EPS causing spikes in the coils. Use the Search to see what you can find and it might address your issue.

Electronic Power Steering - standard on all 4-cylinder Gen7 Malibus and maybe more.

V6 models got hydraulic.

The EPS cable could be routed too close to the coils or other ignition circuitry and induce spikes, and then the ECM may respond poorly.

If you don't know if you have it, lift the hood, remove the cover to the battery, remove the fuse cover. Where the main positive cable enters is a spot for the EPS fuse or breaker (not sure which it has). My V6 has a blank spot - an I4 will have the device. It is between the fuse box and the firewall.
