I'm wondering if anyone knows if employee pricing can be combined with GM's military discount. I've twice emailed the dealer that has the specific car I want ('14 LT1 with Crystal Red tintcoat package, camel interior), but they haven't responded.

07 LTZ,

The GM Military Discount can only be stacked with the GM Small Business/Organization plan, Total Cash Allowance (purchase), Rate Support, Supported Lease, CARS 360 Customer Appreciation, Mobility Program, and Card Earnings.

I bought my 2007 Cobalt, 2009 Malibu and 2010 Malibu below cost. Find a big enough dealership that wants your business and they will do just about anything to get you into a new car.

I am pretty sure you can.. you could even use the rebates and incentives.. shit I bought my car at supplier pricing + all the rebates that apply to me.. plus some dealer cash..

If they want to sell the car bad enough they will do anything possible to make the deal work.

I've seen ads in the newspaper from a dealer in town that shows his price with a list of every available discount being applied. There is an asterisk by each listed discount, must meet eligibility requirements.

I'm still trying to figure out how anybody can be eligible for both the "1st time buyer" and "returning buyer loyalty" discounts at the same time.

Below sticker, yes. Below COST, highly unlikely. They won't pay you to drive off in a car. [not sure about rebates though, I believe they can be stacked without hurting the dealer's bottom line since it's a GM incentive they get 'reimbursed']

Exactly. It is not highly unlikely to get it below cost. The rebates the dealer is getting back anyways, although they will never tell you that. Just one more game they like to play

IF you go to a dealer that sells enough cars they get big kickbacks from GM for selling, so they do not loose money are the deal. They just don't make as much. Going in knowing that helps to negotiate with them. Also being willing to walk out without a car helps. I have gotten up to leave and suddenly the price was where I wanted it.

It depends on the dealership. When I purchased my 2014 Malibu 2LT I picked it up using GMS (Supplier Pricing), $2000 GM Rebate, $1000 Gm Private offer, and GM Card Points.
