You have electric mirrors. Base models may not and those "speaker grills" are the place where the manual mirror lever would have been. Rather than make 2 different mirror (bolt) covers, GM pops in a mini grill.

Can someone tell me what this is?
In the image shown below, there is a small round "thing" in the front corner of the front window of my 2005 Malibu LS.
I thought it was some kind of vent at first but I'm really not sure at all what is is now. I only recently bought this car and found these images posted by the previous owner. So, can someone please tell me what this is?

Edit: Oh heck...It's a tweeter isn't it? I thought the malibu had only 4 speakers but I just discovered there is a 6 speaker model so of course that must be it.
