I have a 2001 Malibu with 108,000 that seems to jump a little when doing around 40-45 an 55MPH. now I can be going up a little hill or pressing the gas a little when it happens.

What do you all think it could be?

throttle position sensor

You could go over to a few other sites related to the N-body Malibu and get a better response. www.unitedmalibus.com www.mpracing.org/forum and www.malibuclub.ca .
I think this issue has been covered on one or all of those sites before. If I'm right I think it's gonna be with the fuel system though or items related to the fuel system.
