Hey everyone, I looked on magnaflow website and they don't seem to have any information on the pricing of the exhaust system. I am curious to know if anyone has a system that is cat back that doesn't void warranty? Please tell me your setup etc... thanks

I talked to Magnaflow Headquarters this evening and they told me that a system for our cars is being passed by the engineering department and it should be available in 6-8 weeks.

They said it would probably be in the $500.00-$600.00 range.

Magnaflow is good stuff. I have their high-flow cats on the Camaro. But I would never do an exhaust on the Malibu. It will add maybe 2 HP if you're lucky and will not sound good with either engine. I had a GT-R catback on my old G6 GTP for about a week before I yanked it and sold it on Ebay. Sounded like a tractor.

I am curious to see if it help gas mileage any. I have had magnaflow products and they are pretty good.

I have exhaust on my Malibu, sort of. I just took off the stock muffler and had piping put there with tips to angle with the slant of the bumper. Its straight pipe from the resonator back, it doesn't sound to bad, not too loud either with the 3 cats and resonator.

I will probably switch out the resonator for a Borla muffler though sometime in the future, but for now its pretty good.

See to me, that sounds absolutely horrible and unrefined. Also, under load that is gonna sound like a farm tractor.

I noticed on clips where people remove the resonator it sounds way to raspy. I wish it was just a V8 haha.. This don't sound too bad.
