My 4-cyl (2009 LT1) started sounding restricted one day, then smelled like rotten eggs at random times. It needs a CATALYTIC CONVERTER which is on backorder until November'ish. GM customer service hotline is updating me on "parts avail" on October 9th...thinking about selling. Have had multiple problems with vehicle (new Camaro anyone?) Vehicle is not drivable.

Wow that sucks. Reminds me of my truck when I couldn't put gas in it, and the tank was on national backorder for a month. Somehow the dealer found one and cut the time down since it wasn't drivable. The new camaro is not much better either, it comes with a different set of problems, lol.

The six speed is just as weird as the one in the malibus, it is all over the place in shifting. Blind spots everywhere. The car is heavy for what it is. Same suspension as the G8's which the ball joints don't hold up well. I will say they have a ton of power and that drivetrain has a lot of potential, but it is just in the wrong body. I would go for the new mustang GT personally and I never thought I would say that in my life.

I know two people who have one and they speak of no issues with the transmission like we do with the malibu. The service technician at my dealership says they get very few cars in with any problems, most are those who complain about everything.

Looks are a matter of opinion, I'm not a hugh fan either, though it is nice. But you know what they say about opions, there like A-- H---, everyones has one!
